What is Exposure?

Exposure is a platform that connects creatives photographers, models, makeup artists, hairstylists and videographers clients looking to hire them. Creatives use Exposure to showcase their portfolios, and clients use it to discover talent and book projects with confidence.

Who can use Exposure?

Anyone! Creatives can build a professional portfolio, and clients can browse, filter, and book talent for events, shoots, and productions.

How do I sign up as a creative?

Simply click “Sign Up” on the home page. You’ll walk through a guided onboarding process where you upload a profile photo, add media to your portfolio, select your services and creative tags, and write a short bio. Once complete, your profile becomes visible to clients.

How much does Exposure cost for creatives?

Creatives can browse and build a profile for free. When we fully launch, creatives will have a subscription of $25/month, with a 1 week free trial included. Clients pay nothing to use Exposure.

How do bookings work?

Clients can message creatives directly through Exposure, discuss project details, and then complete the booking when both parties agree. Exposure will integrate payments (Stripe / QuickBooks) so clients can pay securely and creatives can receive fast payouts.

Can I upload both photos and videos to my portfolio?

Yes! Creatives can upload up to 10 high-quality images or videos to showcase their work. You can crop, reorder, and update your media at any time.

What are creative tags?

Tags help clients discover you more easily. They include specialties like portrait photography, editorial makeup, bridal hairstyling, videography, modeling categories, and more. You can select up to 10 tags that represent your work.

How does location filtering work?

Clients can search creatives based on their city and state. Creatives specify their location during onboarding and can update it anytime in their profile settings.

How does messaging work on Exposure?

Clients and creatives can chat directly inside the platform. Messaging helps both sides discuss project details, pricing, availability, and expectations before booking.

Will my profile be visible publicly?

Yes your portfolio, creative tags, bio, and profile photo will appear on your public profile page. Only your contact and payment information remains private.

How do I get a verified badge (blue check)?

Exposure is building a verification system for creatives using government ID checks and portfolio authenticity reviews. Verified creatives gain increased visibility and client trust.

Does Exposure take a cut of bookings?

No. Exposure does not take a commission on bookings. Creatives keep 100% of what they earn. A subscription fee covers platform costs.

Can I change my services, tags, or portfolio later?

Yes. You can update your profile at any time—add new work, change your bio, switch tags, update your business name, or refine your skills as you grow.
